1. Brainstorming session
2. First draft
3. Second draft
4. Third draft

Essays can be brainstormed, written, and reviewed within 7 business days depending on student response time. All essays must be finalized within 1 month of the brainstorming session. We do not write essays for students.

The Editing Process
Unlike many essay review agencies and admissions consultancies, we actually help you brainstorm the essays so you have a focus first draft. We stay with you until the final draft is completed.
Step 1: Brainstorming Session
The first and most important step of writing any essay is organizing your thoughts and outlining your essay. During our brainstorming session, we will meet either for coffee in Dubai or have a conference call to discuss how you will approach the personal statement or essays that you have to write. We help you brainstorm using an interview method: we ask you questions to help you consider and develop the topic. We also will discuss your experiences, ideas, and viewpoint to help you determine how best to present yourself while directly answering the essay question. Each essay is brainstormed separately to ensure that essays are tailored to the university or program to which you are applying. After the brainstorming session, you will receive notes from the conversation to get you started on your first draft.
Step 2: First Draft
Using the notes from the Brainstorming Session, you will write a first draft of your essay. This draft is a really rough draft and does not have to be perfect. We want to get your thoughts written on paper to be improved in future drafts. Once you complete your first draft, it will be emailed to your consultant, who will review the essay considering the following:
- Does essay address the topic?
- Is the essay well-structured?
- Is relevant information about the applicant included in the essay?
- Does the essay provide an overall positive impression of the applicant?
You will receive comments from your consultant by email after receiving your first draft.
Step 3: Second Draft
Once you review the comments on your essay, you will complete a second draft. Simply follow the instructions provided by your consultant to refine your essay. Reread your essay several times to improve grammar and clarity. Upon receiving the second draft, your consultant will analyze and scrutinize your essay, paying special attention to:
- Elaboration
- Logical transitions between points
- Paragraph organization
- Sentence structure
- Language control
You will receive comments from your consultant by email after receiving your second draft.
Step 4: Third Draft
You will complete the third and final draft after reviewing your consultant’s comments. Your goal will be to polish the essay and fix small details including:
- Grammar
- Spelling
- Punctuation
- Capitalization
After you have sent the third draft to your consultant, you will receive a phone call to discuss any further revisions required.
Step 5: Review and Final Approval
Your essay is done and ready for submission with your application!

Your Consultant
Eden June Michael is the Admissions Consultant. She has been an instructor and educational consultant since 2006. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia USA, she formerly worked with the top test preparation companies The Princeton Review and Veritas Prep in the USA, Thailand, and UAE.
Eden started helping students apply to universities at the request of parents and students while teaching in the United States. She has been offering admissions consulting in Dubai for more than 13 years.
She came to Dubai in 2007 and has been loving it ever since. When she is not tutoring, she is traveling, going to the beach, reading, and geocaching.
